We started Acetec because too many security companies in the GTA are sales-first: a rep shows up, quotes high, and the actual installer is a sub-contractor who hasn’t seen the job until install day. Before we quote anything beyond a single residential job, we come walk your property. It’s the only way to get the camera count, cable runs, and infrastructure right. Surveys are always free, even if you don’t go with us.
Once we’ve walked the site, you get an itemized quote — not a single all-in number. You see exactly what each camera, controller, cable run, and labour hour costs. If we’re proposing a brand or product, we tell you why and what the alternatives are.
Installation happens on a date we both agree on. We protect floors and finishes, clean up after, and walk you through how to use the system before we leave.
Residential cameras: 1–3 day install, $1,500–$3,500 typical.
Commercial CCTV (16–32 cameras): 3–7 day install, $8K–$25K typical.
Access control (per door): $2,500–$8,000 commercial-grade.
Structured cabling: $130–$250 per drop installed, with Fluke certification.
Smart lock + automation: $400–$1,200 per door including programming.
